rise and shout

i actually like basketball the least of any televised sport. there are FAR too many basketball games on tv and the last 10 minutes can stretch into what seems like W-E-E-K-S. the roots mini-series was shorter than some games. a game of church ball is great and a high school game can be pretty fun but basketball on tv can be a slow, drawn-out, sweaty kiss of death. i do have a paralyzing fear of falling all the way down the bleachers in a gymnasium. i once saw a guy do that before a fireside at the marriott center. it wasn't like 2 bleachers either. try 20. with lots of rolling and flailing and crunching. the horrible part of me laughed because laughing at people falling is a favorite pastime, but the compassionate part of me(a very small undernourished part of my psyche) was saddened and horrified.
anywho, BYU is in the sweet sixteen tonight. they are playing florida, one of my biggest sports nemeses. (i promise i'll stop talking about BYU soon. only 5 more months till  college football!!!)
did i ever tell you about the time i failed my aerobics class my freshman year because i forgot to show up for the final? a brilliant move on my part.

jacket- target
t shirt- byu weightroom
belt- gap
jeans- target
shoes- target
today was a target-a-thon kind of day
and that jimmer fredette. for real. looks like an accountant, plays like an accountant possessed with the spirit of wilt chamberlain.

You sound like me and football. I am a diehard Dallas Cowboys (GASP!), and will screen calls like you are a bad telemarketer if you try to call me on Sunday afternoon. Don't do it.

Please don't stop talking about BYU. Or how much you dislike Florida. I could listen to both all day.

I am (as I type) wearing my "Fredette About It" tee. All the Skinner kids donned their Jimmer wear at school today.

GO COUGS!

Love It! I like how you are wearing your belt, I never thought of that, of course I don't have any cute jackets like that, but I might have an old BYU gym shirt I never turned in? :)
Let's win tonight! Ra Ra Ra Ra Ra!
Oh, I was in the BYU bookstore a few weeks ago and it really made me miss you! (did i already tell you that?)

haha...you totally "borrowed" that shirt form the Richards building, ya?? Love it! I hope BYU stomps all over FL tonight...looking forward to it! Not sure I'll actually watch the whole game, but it's funny how all of a sudden I have this renewed pride for my ALma Mater!!! =)

I have never seen anyone else that wears their belts like this! Everytime a belt has a smaller buckle, I always feel inclined to shift it to the side.
&& I love the 70's vibe here, great flare pants!

classy! love the tee under a blazer idea! polished, yet not too dressy!

and it's funny, because i like basketball the most out of televised sports (although, i don't like any televised sports at all). i think football is the sport that gets drawn out.. 4 minutes left in the game? oh, you mean 30 minutes, right?! ughhh

I'm going to ignore all the nonsense above about disliking college basketball (sorry, I grew up in Lawrence so March Madness is like my favorite holiday) to tell you this: no problem! I will for suuure fix the skirt. Thanks for the nagging, as per my request! I really appreciate it.

did i ever tell you about the time i almost failed my karate class at byu because my instructor told me i needed to look less like i was dancing and more like i was fighting.
yeah, well, those dance moves just might throw an approaching mugger off his game, lady, so don't mess.
