go dye in a hole

i have this cream sweater that i made my sister buy for herself a few years ago. she never liked it(but listens to everything i say and i've had some REALLY bad ideas, mwahahaha) and gave it to me a couple of years ago. i've always liked everything about it except for the color. blah with a side of meh. it's so nothing that it looks like a grungy old white shirt that needs to be put down.
exhibit a-
SOOOOOO, i dyed it. i figured, i've got nothing to lose but a grungy looking sweater. RIT dye in royal blue for $2 and i have a new shirt that i actually want to wear. and it took almost no effort. which is my factory setting for personal effort output, almost none. i did it while i was cooking dinner. stir the dinner, stir the dye pot. try not get the two confused.

maxi pants, haha. and look at you, being resourceful and inventive! i really would never think to dye my dingy white tops! i'm afraid i would make a huge mess trying it, though.

You are so clever to think of dye. That royal
Blue looks great on you. Reminds me of your Christmas card.

Ps love the high bun On you. I try to do it occasionally but my hair doesn't have enough volume to stay on top- it sags downward after an hour :(

It looks great. I have an oatmeal colored sweater that I was just telling the hubby I was thinking about dying. Now I'm doing it for sure!!!

Nice work! That color is beautiful! (blue is my fav.) Dying clothes always makes me think of Harry Potter. But I'm a nerd.

You're so crafty, Mrs. Simpson. You make me want to be a housewife that can do everything. :)

This is THE sister. And yes, I do everything Heidi says, despite the bad ideas. I once licked a piece of "cake" that Heidi made for me, only to discover quite soon that it was a painted brick. But it's funny now. Love ya!
