if you've got an opinion, today's your day

a-how do you feel about the pairing of black and brown. honestly, i am usually anti, but recently i noticed a trend in deep brown boots tucked into jeans with black tees, sweaters and/or jackets. and i sort of like it if it is a casual, woman about town outfit. opinions?

b-skinny jeans? are they truly heinous or truly outrageous? in the aforementioned question i mentioned tucking jeans into boots. that pretty much requires a skinny jean. i think it is quite chic. however, how do y'all feel about skinny jeans and flats? or skinny jeans and heels?

c-for the moms out there, how do you guys deal with clogged ducts while breastfeeding? when i was pumping for reagan i had them all the time and that was one of the main reasons i stopped pumping and put reagan on formula at 4 months. with scarlett i have only had a few clogged ducts, but this one is the clogged duct from hell. i am deathly afraid of getting mastitis and being good for nothing and hating life and everyone that crosses my path. ideas? input?

finally, always good for a laugh-

this chick obviously doesn't remember the 80s the first time around. yuck yuck yuck.

Ok, here's what I think:

1) Black and brown is really a no-no in my book. Although I'd love to see a picture of what you're talking about. Who knows? Maybe you can convert me on this one.

2) Skinny jeans. Well, I happen to think that only the truly tall and incredibly, almost borderline too skinny (a la Stacy London from TLC's What Not to Wear) can effectively pull off the skinny jean. How high of a boot are you talking about tucking the jean into?

3) Can't help you with the clogged ducts thing. I think I've heard that warm showers or using a bag of frozen veggies to numb seems to help.

And yes, what WAS that girl thinking? Truly hideous.

I am undecided on the black and brown, to me it is a million times better than navy and black, but that probably goes without saying. sometimes i am guilty of brown belt, brown flip flops and black purse, but really that is a lot of trouble to worry about such things...
I have been seeing a lot of brown and black in home decor/furniture.
For skinny jeans...you should be skinny. really skinny. so i don't know much about them.

oh and for those office fans out there, my friend Becky is doing an Office countdown on her blog in anticipation of the premiere, she gives the quote you guess who said it. I am sure there is a large amount of money at stake- http://www.wickstromadventures.blogspot.com/

At first thought, black and brown do not go together but I can see how in some instances, you might could get away with it.

Skinny jeans are terrible and not flattering! I'm not about tucking pants into boots either but then I am always behind and not very edgy with the fashion world.

I am definately not big on fashion, but I hate brown and black together and I can't stand skinny jeans even on skinny girls!

Try warm compress and massage! Good luck!

I'm a little late on this post since I've been on my blogging break!

1) I really hate black and brown together when it comes to clothes. In fact I get mad at Rob when he tries to wear a black hat with a brown shirt or vice versa.

2) Skinny jeans - I don't feel like I can pull them off! So I don't care for them. I think you have to be tall!

3) Clogged ducts - HATE THEM! I got them a lot at the beginning and then they went away for 5 months but for the last month I have gotten one a week. I just try and check every morning in the shower for any signs and try and work them out right away. I had a killer one that took 2 days to go away (even with tons of hot showers, pumping, etc). Let me know if you get a really good suggestion on this one!
