tell'em large marge sent ya

i'm pretty keen on this whole everybody, everywear participation.
i really struggle with dressing appropriately casual. i much prefer dressy and over the top. i'm not sure what to do with khakis or jeans, unless it's to add heels, dangling earrings, scarves and bigbig hair. i have a hard time with t-shirts standing alone in an outfit. i feel like i need to at least add some sort of ooomph to an outfit. however, i really love stream-lined outfits. i hope to be able to master simplicity this summer. since i obviously can't in the winter.
AND IN BIG NEWS, MY DEAR FRIEND NATALIE STEPPED IN TO HELP ME MAKE MY PICTURES BIGGER. (HENCE THE POST TITLE, CAN YOU NAME THE MOVIE?) IT'S SO GREAT THAT NOW YOU DON'T HAVE TO SQUINT TO SEE MY RIDICULOUS FACES.  NATALIE IS A REAL GEM.

Your pictures look awesome! Did you have someone take them for you or did you use tripOd?

I LOVE the larger pics! I can see all your great details now. This is probably one of the most fun outfits I've see in awhile. The tulle and patterned tights make me smile!

Thanks for the shout out. And in all caps, no less. You really know how to make a gal feel good!

You've had that skirt FOREVER and yet it still looks fresh and fashionable. Brava, Heidi. Brava!

i'm especially loving the accessories in this outfit. i have the exact opposite problem as you. i could live in tshirts and jeans. it takes a lot of convincing in the morning for me to even put a skirt of any sort on. yesterday, i started off with a skirt on, and by the time i left for work, i had switched into a fleece cardigan.

oh, the joy of comfort.

These pictures are lovely. Your friend did a wonderful job. And what's wrong with always having a little oomph?

That is SOOOO Pee Wee's Big Adventure. Where do you think we came up with the name for merciblahblah? From the same movie, when he's talking to Simone, and she says, "Merci beaucoup, Pee Wee," and he replies, "Merci blahblah...."

L-O-V-I-N-G your flirty skirty. Tres Black Swan chic.

Mwah!

"Spearamint or fruit? Fruit please"

Love the movie reference as much as I love the textured tights. It's great how the key piece (blazer) is the subdued piece, and all the accessories jazz it up.
